what buggy handles big jumps best???

ok so i am getting ready to to build a supercross style track at the field behind my house and its going to have alot of big jumps whit lots of air.

what i need though is to make sure my buggy will be able to handle it so i was wondering what buggy and or shocks takes the big jumps best consistently ???

my buggy jumps the best but you didnt ask that:lol: any buggy can be made to jump well big bores make a difference springs, oil weight. you need to find a balance or it will drive like crap but jump and land awsome..

lol, all is based on set-up. they are all great buggies!!!! set-up and driving ability are 90% of any good buggy!!

ok so forget what buggy but is it true that whem it comes to big air you want less flex in the chassis and generally speaking with spring and fliud options the same a 18 mm big bore will be better then a 15 mm big bore.

well if your planning on jumping over your house, you dont want a tuned flex chassis for bashing, as far as shocks 18mm and 15mm will both do the same job with differnt weight shock oil.

if there is no benefit to using bigger shocks then why do company's keep making the shocks bigger ??

the benefit is more oil in the shock which will take a longer time to break down hence you get a more consistent shock over long mains..

thats the main benefit

ok so then it only makes sense that if you are hitting alot jumps you would want a bigger bore so the oil doesnt break down , right?? one thing i always notice is that my oil tends to break down faster when i am at a track with big jumps or at least thats what i have always figured the cause was

I would buy the hpi baja 5b. And put the 55mm shocks on it. And go jump till your hearts content.:lol:

that works!:lol:....or if you NEVER plan on racing then just get the cheapest buggy you can find!....or just get the HB D8 buggy!...great buggy for the price and you could be competitive with it IF you plan on racing!....
