+1, conversions like that are cheaper to buy the vehicle you want.

you cant convert a slayer to a slash its a complete different car the slayer is just an old revo 2.5 chassis with short a arms. A slash in 100% a different car not. So the cost to convert it over is just whatever a slash costs ha

Wrong.... Its very possible to convert ur slayer to electric! Which makes it basically a slash 4x4 but heavier,,,,, but you can put a big system in it and basicall be 1/8 4x4 truck.

I can't agree on that, it won't be a Slash 4x4, it'll be an 'E-Slayer', which is nothing like a Slash 4x4. Two completely different vehicles.

it could be called both. but the conversion would just be a alloy chassis. which for traxxas normal quality would still bend.

The Slayer has a 2 speed tranny, where the Slash 4x4 doesn't.

Ur taking this a lil far. He means slash as in a electric corr truck, not litearally a slash. Also the 2 speed is an easy change thats part of the conversion. He means slash as electric corr truck like i said. So when you see it racing on the class the first impression is slash 4x4 not a electric converted nitro slayer. Basically made a slash 4x4...

I'm just saying for the money aspect you could sell the slayer and buy a slash for what it costs to convert it to electric. The slayer doesn't jump well either and it's much heavier. The slashs suspension works better also. The slayer like I said is just an old revo 2.5 chassis. The suspension on revos are not that good. It looks serious and all but dampening is inconsistent and the suspension isn't as free as a shock tower type suspension. I had a slayer for a while. Went to 1/8th scale and never looked back.

O trust me ive owned em all. Ive had a slash 2wd x3, Slash 4x4 x3, Brushless edition e-revo, Slayer, Revo, T-maxx and to be honest only liked the 2wd and 4x4 slash most. Yes like i said the first post, its a big waste of time to convert. BTW i have a revo for sale converted to a slayer and still have the revo parts if you want it? im serious....
