Default Spur Gear

How well does the spur gear hold up on the truggy? How often does it has to be changed because of wear?

I've been using the original one for the last 4 years so I would say it's pretty good.
I have the quick change engine mount so my mesh is always correct

I've been out of racing for 5 years but got the itch a few months ago. Before I got out I bought an 811T and never raced it. I have raced it the past two weekends and that thing is dialed, way faster than the 8T 2.0 I had been racing back than. Do yall think there will be a srx8T arriving soon or is serpent done with truggy?

Default Srx8t

Serpent isn't done with truggy. I'm sure there will b a srx8t in the future. That's usually how it works.

They have updated the buggy 3x since the last truggy update. You can't buy the serpent truggy on amain anymore. I'm not holding my breath for a new truggy.

I was quite surprised to look at a new Serpent Truggy kit purchased from a racer at our local track over 6 months ago.
I have a TE truggy and the one he had was quite a lot different.
Came with the NEW Body, had different shock towers, the diff ring and pinion were different and a few other bits and pieces like bearings etc.

Here's what the team guys are running (I'm not a team guy).

600136 10 degree caster block ( trim to allow full steering throw)
600611 steering block (more steering)
600496 rear hub (more rear grip)
