Has anyone had a problem with the two screws that go through the rear wing mount, through the rear shock tower, and into the rear bulkhead stripping out? I've driven my V1 twice. Once strictly for break in and another time in a 10 minute race and both times both screws have backed out and the wing mount has come loose. Sorry if I don't make alot of sense, I'm a huge newbie.

The two screws on the top of the mount that go through the shock tower and than through the diff case should have a 5.5mm nut on the end of each that seats into the diff case. I would use metal nuts and not the plastic ones that come in the kit.

Look at page 8 in the manual.

Hope that helps

Thanks Matthew! It was a builder error. I'm sure it won't be the last.

Andrew - there has been no information relative to a new version of the truggy. There is a kit version of the electric truggy slated for release in the next month or so. It will be based off the current TE nitro truggy and include the parts currently in the electric truggy conversion kit.

If anyone is interested, I have some 7075 Aircraft aluminum front and rear shock towers that were made in an extremely limited batch (3? 4?) for the 811T. Lighter than the CF versions, but as strong/stronger than the aluminum versions. They also have holes that allow for the proper use of the 8t 2.0 Body (and other cap forward bodies) with little trimming. PM me if you want them! I also have two custom painted losi bodies trimmed to fit (like the one in my avatar) I'll sell with them. Great condition.
Hey guys,

I'm also selling my truggy and a lot of my parts, need to consolidate my gear down to just running nitro buggy. I just have way too many duplicate spare parts. If any of you are interested in buying some parts, I have a ton of new stuff for the TE Truggy and 2.0 buggy, as well as some lightly used parts as well. Will sell most of it for 50-60% discount. (Also have anew pair of aluminum 16 degree carriers). I also have some older TE Buggy stuff I'll sell for next to nothing for anyone still rocking one. Have Full Shock, Clutch, radio tray, chassis, diffs, towers, bulkheads, etc. Pretty much every part for the cars. Too much to list- so PM me with what you might want, and I'll give you price. Thanks

The E-truggy body does not fit the nitro truggy. Personally I like the stock nitro truggy body, its lines are unmistakable and the downforce is very good.

Search this thread for the Copperhead body as an alternative. Additionally, you will find information in this thread where folks have installed the Proline bulldog and Losi 8ight-T 2.0 bodies with some minor modifications.

Losi body fits. All you need is losi front body post and turn the rear body post towards the front. I used to run the losi body but it takes away the aerodynamic of the stock body (like mentioned above), besides I wanted it to look like a serpent.
Edit: post 4072 is the losi body I used to run
