Default why isn't my car shifting?

ok so today i started to drive my car (redcat tornado s30) and i noticed it was not shifting into 2nd gear. it had high rpms the whole time and was not going as fast as usual. the time before this time i drove it, it was shifting perfectly. when i had the thorttle pushed it went high rpm then lowered its rpms while i was still holding the throttle.

my transmission is a 2 speed by the way.

if this helped, a dog bone snapped the same time the transmission quit shifting. i replaced the bone and the tranny still would not shift!

what do i do?

when you disassembled to replace the dog bone did you have to take the clutch or motor off also? if you did then go over the whole setup make sure everything is in place. Also check your clutch shoes, bell and bearings maybe something is stuck or need replacing. In any case disassemble the whole transmission, inspect everything and then put it back together according to manufacturer's specs.

Could be the tune on the motor, Try leaning it a hair and see what it does.

I agree. My T-Maxx 2 speed was running a little too rich and wouldn't get high enough in the RPMs to make it shift. It was a simple tuning issue.

You say it wasn't going as fast as usual.. Also leads me to agree with Integra to lean the HSN a bit and see what happens.

Yeah try tuning it first and see if that helps. Otherwise there should be a tension screw in the tranny that changes the shift point (rpm).
