OK, without mentioning a motor, what are you looking for out of it? Great fuel mileage, torque, top end? Price range plays a big role too.

Honestly. Out of the motors you list, the Nova +4 is the best option.

Just wondering what did you find un-impressive about the Vspecs?

anyway out of your list I'd go werks then nova(don't know much about the reedy or the OD)

The werks runs great and has great bottom the nova with 9901 is smoother engine but also a great performing engine just has a more controllable power band(when compared to the B5/2013 combo)

So I guess it depends on what you want out of your engine

werks engines are by far my favorite so far I have ran em all....10 min pits in both buggy and truggy and the price is a bonus! super easy and quick break in so no wasting a gallon of fuel before you can race it..and tuning is pretty much set it and forget it. a hr here and there buts thats it...

but these days all the engines out their are quality just pick the one that is your favorite color and you can afford!

Check out the Radical 621t website is in the sig. Great motors, idle forever, power on tap, easy to tune and on top of all that reliability.. will easily run strong past 10gals

i have to agree with t8rtot radical engines are the best! i have had mine for a couple of months now and what a beast! they have so much power they will outrun any novarossi engine or any car i have raced and it has so much grunt out of the corners it is unbelievable!
and not only are they powerful through out the powerband they will easily do about 10 min and will last around 10-14 gallons!

if i was you i would have a look and ask people on the radical engines thread they are simply awesome!

hope this helps

a guy i race with, when he was running the Trinity Extechs and Reedy engines (which are know for the silcon to come out) he just took it out and ran it without any, make sure its all out. youll loose about 30 seconds of run time, thats about all you can tell. there is a way to fix it, but i cant remember how.

Out of the motors you listed, I would go with a nova. Plus 4 or P5. Out of anything, well you know what it would be................................................ .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ........OS

I run a Reedy, my racing buddy runs an OD SS. I get a bit over 10 minutes runtime, he gets 8 1/2. On the straights we are neck and neck, winner is whoever brakes later. The silicone hasn't come out of the crank on mine, I wouldn't be worried about it. Both are good, just the Reedy is a hair better.

Look at werks or sirio and for your truggy go with a go engine 7 port gx7 you wont be sorry I like the MG66 on the truggy insane power.

For buggy you want smooth power delivery the evo4 with a 2057 pipe and will give easy 8+ on pit stops.

The B6 from werks feels like a sirio but not a sirio, the power band is much smoother and the fuel from what I hear is in the 11+, am still breakin mine and it's doing really well so far.

You will notice that the werks needles hold better their tune then the sirio which seem to be a little more loose. 2 different carbs on these engines.

Check your budget look at getting to match your wallet and dont forget spare engines for your buggy and truggy you never know, it happens to the best of us.

I'll have to agree get a go engine. Actually just give me your last go engine and i'll fix it and show you that its not broken or bad.
