Best of luck to him, he has a great rep as a driver and person so all the best to him! Was a great help along with David Jun to myself at Neo this let year!

Question, hopefully not too blunt, but is this the end for Tamiya in 8th??

I know they've announced a load of hopups coming but to lose your "A" driver, and seemingly have so few general people running the car, and Japan don't seem to push it at all, the EU Trf drivers tend not to use it, and finally the apparent death in development of the 801E, all make me wonder??

On pg.2 the guy with most info on Ryan says the 2 rides he might pick up are

Garbo or
SG car

Ive never heard of either but what ever ride he gets will be good. I would like him to be on Mugen they are in need of more pros. Losi should just leave other pros alone lol they take them all. haha

Good Luck to Ryan with what ever he choice he makes, after seeing him drive here in Australia this year he is a great guy with a driving style like no other.... makes a car look so out of control but so under control at the same time and that pink head alpha screams......best of luck at the world Ryan from the guys Down Under

to be honest, i was happy to see this, he's such a great guy and a driver and he deserves to drive the best buggies out there, no offense to Tamiya but i dont think 1/8 buggy is their best field.

we will soon know in Thailand

Tamiya TRF was very quick to delete Ryan from their driver pages:

I wish both Ryan and Tamiya all the best in the future!

It'll be very interesting to see where he ends up. Like others have said, he's a top notch driver and person. It's always a blast to watch him wringing a car's neck on the track...or through a pit of potatoes!

I would like to know what happened. Worlds is 4 weeks away, drivers have already started to go over there, testing. The world is a big stage for manufacturers to test and give "sneak" new products into the hobby.

Now mu question is: Isnt he a full time paid driver. So he would have to go to a company that has money to pay, and that the moment I think Losi and AE are taped out with money for drivers at the moment. IDK. Met him a few years ago, nice guy. But I am confidnet he WILL be at Worlds. AND I think he will be drive a NEW companies buggy.

I can say from personal experience that Ryan is one of the classiest drivers you'll ever meet, and also one of the fastest. There's no doubt in my mind that he'll find something pretty quick and he's fast enough that he won't have to make any compromises to get a ride for the Worlds. Any of the best companies would do well to have him on their team.

Any decent racing team would fall over themselves getting him on their platform. While the big guys might not have as much to spend on him, due to the economy, i bet someone will pay him what he deserves. At this point he'll probably make more money going with one of the smaller outfits that don't already have a slew of drivers. I know whatever outfit he choses will do well for themselves as his sponsor. Couldn't ask for a better rep and more press coverage than he already gets.

That's funny! Because I see a few drivers on the list right now that don't drive for them anymore....
