Default Wow!

Thanks a heap for all your suggestions, I think you guys are right I will get the mp9SE. I have a Vspec already but need parts to fix it (Apparently the guy thrashed it while running it on a bench) got it for $20 and all i have to replace is the con rod piston and sleeve everything else is good I might still buy a new one and build the old one up slowly. I want those specific servos because I can run a 7.4v lipo and they each have high torque and high speed at 7.4v. What do you guys suggest for an exhaust? JP-3, Dyno 053, T-2050SC, T-2060SC. I have heard all of those are really quite good. I am thinking the one of the os pipes because mark pavidis runs one with a vspec engine. I have budgeted for the T-2060SC. Thanks for all your help, I will let you know how it all goes.

Default 7955tg

@cdc what are the specs of the 7955tg at 7.4v?

I have had a look around and all I get is specs for 6v.

better than the 7950 or 7940 specs.

and on the pipes you can save a ton and get a RE10 or RE11 pipe. RE10 is almost the exact pipe as the 2060 (cant tell a difference) and the RE11 is the same as the 2050 (no one can tell the difference.) dont get the JP3 or 053, they kinda suck the fuel when combined with Vspec.

re11 has round header instead of d header like 2050 so if you get the re11 need to find a d header the difference is in the top end

Same specs as the 7954. They are the same servo with the exception of the gears. 7955 uses titanium gears and the 7954 uses steel gears to cut costs. 7955 is a better servo.

RE11 is the same yeah, RE10 is not. They are close as you say, but you can tell a difference. There is a physical difference in the measurements of the pipes and a difference in how they perform on the track. RE10 is an awesome pipe though. Not quite as smooth as the 2060 and not quite as good on fuel from what I've seen.

The 7950 has much better specs than the 7955 on 7.4v. 7955 is an awesome servo, but the 7950 is better.

The L shaped double bend header that comes with the 2050 actually provides more bottom end vs. the C shaped smooth round headers.

The Hitec 7950th is a better servo than the 7955.

I would go with the hitec 7940/7950 combo they are designated hv servos and you can't beat hitec customer service. Then use the 2060 pipe it was made for the vspec. The 053 will cut the top off and idk about the losi pipes.

The new 7945 looks sweet too! I'm thinking that will be my next throttle servo. You can't beat the 7950 for steering. Massive torque and plenty of speed for me. I agree about the 2060. Awesome pipe!
