Be careful with antifreeze with anything except a crock pot . My buddy put on stove had 6 foot flames, if not for 10' ceilings house would of burnt down. I didn't know it would burn at all.

I'm sure he got it over 400f before it flashed
Don't forget to protect from your pets as well it turns to formaldehyde in bodies that ingest, poison no antidote.

Default the best way, hands down.

Go to an auto parts store and buy a gallon can of Gunk carb/parts cleaner. it comes with a basket inside. I'm not sure of the cost. Disassemble the pipe and header. Put them in the basket and drop into the can. Let it set over night. Next day, rinse off with water. Pipe is perfectly clean. It is part of my regular maintenance. Works perfect, very little effort. Watch how much build up comes from inside the pipe when you rinse it. I usually pull it out of the can, spray it inside and out with Simple Green, then rinse it good in the garage sink. There is no other way. Gallon will last forever. You can do this to the oldest, nastiest pipe, and it will come clean.

While on this note. What do you use to plug the pipe and how much water do you put in it when you put it into the freezer to get the dents out. How long do you leave it in.
