Default OFNA Truggy Starter Box

Guys,

I'm a bit embarrased to admit this, but I'm at a loss as to how to setup this starter box. I have a Mugen MBX-6T and not sure how to finalize the setup. Can anyone walk me through this? The instructions are pretty vauge (at least to me). Lots of parts, but no clear picture as how they come together...

Thanks very much for any help!

In 2 days I'll be setting up mine so if by then you don't have any idea I'll be here to explain how I did it or where I'm at a loss

It should be pretty self explanitory if you've ever had a starter box in the past. You just line up the flywheel with the rubber wheel, make sure its centered and set the pegs so the vehicle doesn't move. Then with a battery hooked up and the box turned on, push down on the box and your vehicle to make it spin the flywheel.

I do same as above just make sure you disconnect the battery. If you got a chassis plate laying around with nothing on it, its super easy.

Did you manage to get it or where are you stuck? Let me know if you are still having problems and exactly what area is giving you issues.

Funny. Starter boxes look like it should be a simple task to set up. Not so easy if you ask me. You do need tons of patients when setting it up the first time. Cool thing is once its set you never have to do again unless you break a post. Some people even super glue the posts once you get it set up.

I know a guy that even welded metal posts to the top of his box.

I got my Ofna Truggy box setup with little to no issues. I am running a 14.8v 4S lipo and the thing spins so fast on the flywheel that my wheels spin lol. Definitely more power than needed, but hey...at least I know it'll spin enough to start the engine up. I did have a heck of a time getting it lined up for my Losi 8ight 2.0, but after some trial and error and a couple hours it seems to work as intended.

GulfstreamIVCap, did you ever manage to get yours setup?

Does this box come pre-wired to run one battery?

Thanks
