Default xray active diff fit losi 8ight?

hi there,

i have found a xray active diff on ebay and i was curious if it will replace the front diff on a losi? has anyone tried it?

I doubt it. The bearings are a different size and the losi bearings are flanged where the xray isn't. Why not look for the losi smartdiff on eBay as they do same thing and it will fit with no modifications.

i have looked on ebay but no one has them for sale in the UK but i am tempted to but a wanted tread on here and see?

It should fit lewis, the only thing you'll need to do is swap the bearing's for a set of flanged.

Ive heard of guys using entire Xray diff's in the truggy to eliminate the bone popping out issue, that's pretty uncommon tho.

i thought it would but i needed some elses opinion. the problem is i want the centre smart diff but the xray one is the front what help will an front smart diff give?

Ive only ran my SD in center and on truggy, so im honestly not sure what a SD would do up front, I know Frank or JamminKrazy used SD's up front and In center, But im 99% sure they have been removed in favor of standard diffs.

the user that did the Xray diff out back in tuggy said the stock Pinion matched up to the Ring on the Xray stuff, Now im not too sure what model of Xray diff it was as im sure there's small differences from 1 model to the other(maybe)
