+10 I picked my MBX6 M-Spec up Thursday (coming from a losi). Got it out of the box and race ready with my equipment in it and checked it over, being pre-built I just had to check screws and such...

By Sunday it was Top 3 at The East Coast Race Against Cancer, Pro Buggy only behind Anthony Mazzara and Dan Ross after 30 minutes!!! Only change to the car was dialed out some front brake. Was on the outside looking in for a podium the past 2 years at the RAC with my losi (4th the past 2) and 3 days on my Mugen= losi what? Don't know anything about the Agama buggy other than it looks like a losi... So I vote Mugen.

Haven`t run a Mugen, gone from Xray 808 to the Agama.
Agama is very nimble, corners like it`s on rails and fly`s like a bird.
Durability is as good as the Xray so far, and trust me, I test the durability very well.
Price and support for the Agama is very good.
Mugen are top notch as well, either will be a good choice.

However during a race I have never broken anything. As far as the AGAMA being easier to drive than a mugen. If you need something easier than a Mugen its called a Chauffeur.
Yeah I drove a mugen for quite sometime....loved it. The buggy drove super easy. The Losi 2.0 I had wasn't quite as forgiving but still very fast....I haven't drove the Agama, but its virtually a Losi clone so I can't see how much better it could be. .

My choice is Mugen due to the quality of the parts and easy to drive fast.
Actually you are incorrect. Mugen parts are not all made in Japan.

i am having a hard time understanding why there is problems with the arms. I have never broken one, i have seen some break. Did they have this problem on the 5? When putting a 6 together the composites seem top notch. Just curious what the problem is

The only thing similar is the appearance of the drivetrain, I've had both..... I tried a Losi for a single race and did nothing but wear my wrenches out for 3 days trying to find grip, tried every setup known to man. The Agama is a much better handling car for me. I took over a year off from nitro and jumped back into it recently, I'm running with the guys that never took time off and are competitive on a national level already with my Agamanator

The best comparison I can think of it is, its has a Losi style efficient drivetrain (10x more durable than Losi) and similar to Mugen geometry

I'm driving a Mugen and never broke an A-arm in a race. I broke 1 A-arm on a BMX track when I was flying 5m height and 20m far at full throttle. The car land on an other hill on the right front wheel. I was happy only the A-arm broke.

THE AGAMA IS WAY DIFFERENT THEN THE LOSI ,OR SHOULD I SAY "SLOPPY LOSI"
IT HANDLE's WAY BETTER , and set up changes give back a positve result. dont let the looks fool you, if you go to agama racing.com take a look under the hood and you'll find it to be quite different, sure they took some ideas from losi, the losi is a trend setting car but that does not make it the car to have .every time a car comes out that changes the industry like losi, other companies see what they are doing and improve on them , thats just what agama did. i have had this buggy for about a month and it's top quality. no matter if there are bugs to work out , every buggy got bugs. agama a8 has it's own identity by now ,try one

My question is would the Hits have broken any truck or just Mugen?

I've had mine since it came out and no broken parts even with some hard hits.

I only race the truggy class but if I did race the buggy class I would also look at The Car from JQ. There is a thread in this forum about it

You should drive an Agama before you make a comment like that. I drove losi for years and the Agama is nothing like it. Much more planted and more steering. Accelerates better and jumps better too. They are only similar in that they are both capable of winning.

so i guess what i would like to know is, what is the difference between the composite in the arms on the 5t vs 6t? Did they go with a different manufacturer or changed the design? changed the composite? If it worked so well on the five, why change it?
