Default Tyres wars!

One of the most important tuning options these days is TYRES!
However I'm sure a lot of people, including myself, have a lot of questions...here are mine:

1. Wheels: small / large diameter, wide / narrow, soft / hard. What's their effect?

2. Inserts: hard/soft, moulded, moulded grooved...when to use which?

3. Small / large pins, forward / side traction, dual stage...which track conditions?

4. Venting holes. How many and what size...?

Unlimited combinations... I hope that someone can write a small guide and make the tyre selection easier and CHEAPER for us inexperienced racers.

As far as #4, i know that hole size is 1/16 - 1/8 depending on the driver and most of the time two holes or at least that's what this video showed.

Large wheels everywhere (Like AKA or Proline standard size)

For the most bumpiest of tracks use something like the AKA Pro 5 which is a 2mm smaller diameter wheel.

Inserts. I run one type of insert everywhere. That is the medium (standard) AKA insert.
