what wt. oil in shocks?

my uncle has the 1/8 scale ofna .21 buggy 4wd. with big bore shocks. what wt. oil is used from the factory?

and another quick ? he has a traxxas t-maxx. will the little bottle of 30wt. shock oil that comes with the shocks be enough to re-fill all 8 shocks? they are the ultra stock shocks, not big bores.

Normally stock shocks in a rtr buggy are light oils around 30wt. I honestly dont like any stock wt setups on any car/kit. Basically if its a basher or jumper go heavy wt and if its a racer it depends on track.

The t maxx should include enough oil to fill all shocks if not a bottle of fluid is like 4 bucks or less and will do 16 t maxx shocks if its ae oil.

yea i kinda was guessing like 30wt. because the car sags quite a bit. its a heavy car. it will mostly be driven in the yard and street. some track time. not big jumping. i'll go ahead and try to fill them with the bottle. if it runs short, i can pick up some like you stated. thanks for the info.
