Default is it worth repinching a dyanmite .21??

i have a dynamite and i was wondering is it worth pinching it and to replace a bad bearig. the total cost to pinch and replace a bearing is $50. is it worth it???

I wouldn't just replace the one bearing, I'd do both. What does the piston look like? Any play in the wrist pin? Hows the rod? You have to weigh the differences in what it would cost if you were to look at a new one if money is no issue for you at this point. You have to ask yourself if you liked that mill too. Lots of variables to weigh.

+1 And thiers alot of new engines to choose from that are from $125.00 to $200.00 range that will rip.

Pinching= 15 dollar
Bearing= 20~30 dollar (Boca, Acer, ABE35 etc)

No new engine for that..... just get a new one and fix this one for the fun.....

+1^^^..i would pinch it and replace the bearings and run it if you dont have the $ to buy a new 1 @ the moment,but if you do have the $ just do what he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

+1 alpha has some good motors just got a f850 used going to do a complete rehaul on it the parts are cheap and i only paid 50 with pipe
u can get sleaves and piston for 75 ....20 for a rod......40 for ready roller ceramics 20 for rear and 15 or so for frnt

also got a new nova n21r limited its a sport motor but it runs like a raped ape i was suprised paid 129 new in box
pinch it and keep as a backup is what i would do

Make sure the piston and sleeve are able to be pinched. How much time do you have on it? I had a quart on mine before it lost pinch and the exhaust side of the piston was completely wiped out due to the sleeve being out of round. Regardless of what you do, make absolutely sure the sleeve is completely round!!
