I stopped reading where you said when you pull start the engine it jerks forward. A couple things come to mind when I hear this:

1. Your bearings are shot and wont roll so when you crank the motor its cranking the clutch bell and jerking the car forward.

2. Check your actual clutch shoes and clutch springs they could be rubbing your clutch bell and basically doing the same thing as I said above.
