Default remove scratches from wheels?

hi there,

i just boiled a set of tires off some dished losi rims and the rim is covered in scratches. how can i get rid of the scratches? any suggestions?

i have thought of trying to buff out the scratches but it might melt the rims? any opinions?

many thanks

Its off road racing on dirt with rocks, your going to get scratches on your rims. I was suggesting you start on-road so you don't scratch your rims.

A real fine sandpaper will work but it is going to dull the shine. Once plastic is scratched there is no real fix.

there is a kit sold to atv and dirt bikers called plastic renew, it eliminates the scratches and restores a shine, $18 will get you a bottle that does two full Atv's so thats alot of rims. i'll see if i can find you a link
