You can run it with no mods. It will sit high in the rear. Or get the 2.0 rear tower shocks and it will sit right. Since the 1.0 is shorter you will need to trim the bed area some.

yea but, whoulnt just using the 2.0 body mounts on the 1.0 t to use flatstyle bed bodys sit right ? i know i might have to trim the body thats not a big deal though.

just get a 2.0 and problems solved. If i were tight on money i would do as dez said just make it a 1.5 then put a 2.0 chassis on it and towers then ur close to a 2.0. You can get the 2.0 rtr chassis on ebay for like 30 max and then rtr towers for like 10 for both on ebay then get 2.0 shocks and radio tray and problem solved. Ebay it can total like 100 max give or take and you would have a pretty kickback truck.

Posted this in your electric offroad thread.
The 1.0 is much shorter than the 2.0, so you will need to trim some material off of the back/bed area of the 2.0 body.
Again to mount the body correctly you really need the front and rear shock towers along with 2.0 front and rear body mounts. You can probably get away with just the rear tower and mounts if you use a proline or JC body that doesn't have the post holes cut from the factory. The 2.0 body won't line up with the 1.0 front shock mounts.
