Default HPI savage question

okay. i have a savage x 4.6 and i just blew my rear diff to shreads. my cousin has a savage 25 he doesnt use anymore and offered it to me as a parts car. can i use the diff from the savage for my 4.6? are the diffs and diff cases the same? please someone help me out thanks

they should interchange there may be a difference internally but should work just the same yours most likely has the ugrade diff where that one wont but it should work still the same

I know the old savage 21 only had 2 spider gears. Make sure you use a diff with 4 spider gears.

it would probley fit but you will tear this one to shreds too.

Better off getting the flux bullet proof diff.

Even the savage X SS had good diffs, and make sure you shim them correctly.
