Default Losi RE10 pipe compared to OS 2060?

Is the RE11 simular to a 2060 for a speed? How about in runtime?

I had a 2050 on my old speed and was never really impressed with power or runtime. Atleast half of the Amain at my local track pits at 10min so runtime is a big factor for me.

The RE11 is a direct copy of the OS 2050, NOT 2060. There really isn't anything equivalent to the 2060. The mugen ninja 2042 is the same pipe and is made by OS. Other than that the 2060 is the 2060(EFRA 2042).

The RE10 isn't a bad substitute for the 2060, but it is NOT the same.

It's not only about the money. I'm tired of being wasteful with this hobby. I have read many post where people like the re10 better than the 2060, but no reference to runtime.

You won't quite get the runtime of the 2060 with the RE10. That's been my experience anyway.

From what i see when racing here, a fellow racer has a RE11 on his speed, and he puts out very good run times, on one of our smaller tracks he did a qualification round,(10min) without stopping for fuel.
On our bigger and slick track i think he pit's at 8/8.5, we race at sea level but with very high humidity levels 90% + , and around 24 degree temps on the summer.

I took the advise from Jamminkrazy on the 8mm insert on the os speed with the RE10 pipe and EB mods button head. All I can say is explosive power great lowend and top. I ran the RE11 did not like it at all very mild power band the 2060 was much better and the best fuel milage of the bunch The RE10 best power all around run time after several tanks just slightly lower than the 2060. Part of that could be due to excessive trigger squeeze by me.

Here in Miami its sea level with very high humidity and extremely hot temps. Probably 7-8 of the people I race with regularly pit regularly at 10min.
