i race at rescue mini speedway

you can use 20% and, it runs fine but 25 % it runs better yea i would add a shim if you use 30 %.

well what i been told, my a racer is if you broke it in with a certain amount of nitro than it will run best with that.

i think a 53 pipe whould, be better actually because when i used the 86 pipe on a small techinal track it was hard to hit some jumps.

also the GRP is way faster than that engine. youll probably want your GRP at smaller tracks.
I agree. It works better with an 053 or 9853 prety much the same pipe...
then you could gear up a tooth on a larger track, but if it's small or medium then run it how it's normally geared with the 053...short round header....

O'donnell 99 or McCoy 8. i liked the OD 99 better. also you dont have to shim it for 30%, it wont hurt it at all or shorten life. they recommend 25% tops but thats mainly for break in. i ran 30% with no trouble with the same engine and so does everyone else. i know someone with 8+ gallons on theirs running 30% with stock shims. 20% is going to be super slow trust me, i tried it lol

if your using 30% add a shim and use a cold plug or a meduim plug.
if 20% a, meduim plug and when it gets cold outside use a hot plug.

if you choose, to use 20% the shimming on it is for 20% to 25 % just like my rb is.

sorry double post.

while i do agree that 20%, can be too slow but i think depends on how much oil is in it i know my, ebmods fuel is about 10% and byrons 20% is 12%oil.

i think its fast enough .

EB mods is almost the exact same as byrons, my engine runs hotter with EB mods, over priced fuel IMO. also i did test with 30-9 and 30-11, my engine was faster and ran cooler with 30-11 but my dads engine ran cooler with 30-9. but with these 3 port Nova, you NEED 30% or woull be WAYYY under power. ive owned 2, mod and stock, you need ever bit of power possible, these arent very powerful. 20% is to low , 25% will be better, i wouldnt run anything lower than 25%...

you dont like standard plug? why is that? just because of the washer? i like standard plugs more (even tho i dont own one anymore ) because they seem to have a bigger tuning window and all, but man they are a pain to change

also on plug choices, the colder the plug the smaller the tuning window will be

its the same persentage oil as byrons fuel ? i guess the ebmods website is lying then. i might me racing, this sunday and, i did finally get my engine running better than it was so i will see how fast it is .

yea it does cost more, than byrons fuel but the main building is in pa and a lot of guys run it at my track. i just hate to competly retune a engine to run 30 % .

but doesnt 30% have a smaller tuneing window ? im not that good at tuneing man.
and i do have a lot of fuel left in my 20% gallon.
