Default JConcepts Rulux Wheels (Need Some Opinions)

I usually run tires with solid dish rims but at the track I run at the inside of rim seems to get caked up with dirt pretty good. I recently orderd some rulux rims and am going to try them next weekend at the Futaba Challange. I was wanting to get some opinions about these rims and maybe some pros and cons from those of you that use them. I run am MBX6 so they will also make it easier to change camber if needed.

I have run both Rulux and dish wheels and there is no way the Rulux will collect LESS dirt. They just act a freakin vacuum-cleaner
You will get worse baking of dirt and the only advantage I see is that you can rinse them out faster if thats an option.

My thought was that with the open areas between the spokes that the dirt would fly out. I guess that might not be the case from what you are saying.

Hmm I have tried some a while back.. and didnt notice and decrease in dirt getting collected.. not a massive fan of spoked on the 1/8th buggies.. but no dont think there would be less dirt build up tbh..if anything I found the rims more of a pain to clean.. with all the angles ect.. but thats me haha

I too just ordered a set or rulux wheels. They are the smaller standard size wheel not the newer larger inch-up size. I'm finding that I get a tic more traction from the older standard size wheel than the trendy less side wall flex
newer over sized wheels. I'm coming to the conclusion that less side wall flex is great for on-road cars, but maybe not so good for off road. If the rulux
are light weight, strong and have some wheel flex it should be a great wheel.

As far as dirt. I would mount only a dry tire on a spoked wheel. Mud and spokes don't get along.
