Default Manual brakes, 1/8th scale electric, DX3S

Can someone show me how to setup my buggy to use manual brakes with the DX3S? I understand I need a "Servo 'Y' Harness W/Reverse".

It should be just a matter of channel mixing. It has been a while since I have been through the menus on mine but cant you mix the the brake servo from the 3rd channel?

I think that is what I need to do, but I want to cheat and have someone tell me how to do it... Otherwise I will pull out the manual.

Go ahead and pull out the manual. I learned a long time ago, no matter what you are doing to read the manual for that product. If you don't you will miss out on many features the product had to offer. If I spend my hard earned money on something I want ot know everything that it does, and how it works.

Talking Servo Mixing

I run mechanical brakes on my E-Buggy. Clutch as well (sometimes) Testing..

Anyway. This is a matter of setting the radio up with the 3rd channel.

Mixing is what I think Futaba calls it.

It works great on my system and the manual really allowed me to fix this

in a matter of minutes. Save the car configuration and you won't loose it.

Also, if your radio allows, you can create a configuration with mixing and one

without.

Check out your manual and it should tell you the details.
