no they werent balloned i had good throttle control because i raced eltrics and all but i was intemidated by nitro and how hard they were at first so i wasnt going all out and we have huge jumps and once i got a lil comfterbale and went for them and seems that my engine was still a lil rich lesson learned. Now i make sure i break in good off track and when i race i give it a tune to where i can at least clear stuff.

shadowhope if your just, club racing like me a sport engine is fine just use your losi 350 intill it dies so you can learn to tune better. and than you can move on to a itatian engine like a( rb nova werks etc.)
although to me rb arent, too hard to tune depending on what plug you use.

RB,s are easy to tune if your using the right glow plug.
#64
what plug are you using in your rb ? im running a #100 odonnell plug with 20% ebmods race formula it doesnt have a lot of oil by the way.
it starts up right away, i just replaced my #100 plug with a other #100 plug and its running better so it should be easier to tune now.

there are engines that arent italian that are just as good if not better, example Alpha. we are getting over 8 gallons out of them and running at 260-280 rage temps, that isnt easy on engines. ive had italian engines all the way to i went with Alpha and OD engines and those two (other than the JPX and GRP) are my favorite.

i dont think rb makes the c6, anymore but my s5 doest seem that hard to tune really it did lose its tune after a gallon though .
if its the rb like my thats, made in italy and made my nova i cant see why it would be any harder to tune than a nova.

but you know what sport engines, are pretty good for club racing as i know most people at a club level race stock engines.
a sport engine like, a rb s5 is plently fast enough if you ask me.
its still new so i think, it can be even better after the secound gallon.
i run it on my truggy.

the rb box says, its made in italy and its ingraved on the engine.

i never mod engines, i had 2 modded ones (i think just 2) and i liked the stock versions better. and sport engines are good, i ran full blown race engines and went back to sport engines (example STS) when started racing pro class at club races. i run both, but now sport engines dont really get the job done. but still they are great engines i advise running sport engines until they hold you back.
i think most of the guys in, the pro class are running ebmods engines at my track.
but in the truggy sportsman class its mostly sport engines really.
which i race in
