how long do your shoes last being carbon?I know the aluminum's have alot of snap but mushroom over and then you have to file it down.

i belive you but i just know, that if i ran a 4 shoe alum/carbon setup it wont last on my eight-t 1.0 very long .

so the 3 shoe clutch has enough grab ?

yes a truggy on the same track as u seen in the vid will pull all jumps from the same angle no problem like that lil lip he grabed to clear the huge gap with that lil run his truggy with a b5 launches just as far with stock setup. HB does not give you junk in the kit there stuff is quality grade but for a cheaper price to give racers what they want.try the stock shoe set up it wont hurt, its easy to swap.

ok it sounds good than yea, the losi stock shoes that came with the kit dint last long at all at least, with the stock setup on the 1.0 they tell you to use.

i think it depends on, what engine you run if you need a all alum shoes.

cool i agree with you the, stock losi shoes do suck its just funny that they remmended them stiff clutch springs for the 1.0. i dint like it too much because it was like when, i was going lets say half throttle it whould all the sudden shoot off like, a rubber band when i was apporaching the jumps.\

plus you had to keep up, on rpms a lot going into the corners with that setup.

Default HB carbon shoes

My son went out with a new HBD8 for the first time this weekend, and the kit as you said came with 3 carbons, coming from Mugen and Losi, I had my reservations about how they would grab. After seating them in, 1 tank on practice, they were great, my son like the way it felt, we have a modded V-Spec, and I was wondering if they would handle the bottom end. After a 20 minute main, they were great, no fade, and couldn't find much wear at all, give them a try, you'll be impressed

+1 see i got a voucher here thay are great, i remember when i got my losi and there flywheel was 4 shoe and they gave me only 2 carbons it had no grab what so ever still had the issue with a aluminum in the mix so i changes to king heads aluminum 4 shoe and problem solved. But with the hb stock shoes are working great very very nice.
