engine breaking stall
I have a Losi 8ight 2.0 RTR with the 350 engine. i just changed the clutches in my engine and i put it back together. I got it starting up fine but every time i break, my engine stalls can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?

make the idle higher turn it clockwise, not too much just intill when you brake it doesnt shut off.

Sounds like you adjusted your idle on your transmitter and not with the idle stop screw on the engine. Adjust the trim or subtrim so it does not idle higher than it would when you apply the brake then adjust the idle stop screw on the carb. The gap in the carb should be .8 - 1mm. Then adjust and tune the engine accordingly.

Are you 100 % sure you have the clutch installed correctly ? It could be a spring popped off or something during installation .

More than likely ur settings on ur radio are way off i have experienced the same problem, whats happening is ur trim adjustments are wrond so when brake applies it closes ur carb causing it to die. Best thing to do is set all trim to stock settings on the radio, center the servos again and re adjust it by stock settings.

re
if he did nt touch the idle screw and it was idling before it shoul not stall sounds like a spring out of place or clutch bell not free spinning

the only problem is when, you mess with the throttle trim it will create brake drag so if you choose to do that you have to readjust the brake collers.
the best thing to do is, to set your radio at 0 on the trim and put the servo horn on as straight as you can and you should be fine.

+1 and i think the rtr include the race roller manuel so pop it open and go to the servo adjustment steps and it will tell you where ur breaks need to be adjusted to and all that good stuff...Anything is fixable and when in dought grab that book it can be a like saver lol.
