I feel for you bro! This is a tough thing to happen to anyone. In todays economy I decided that I need all my RC stuff insured. I pay about $40 a month and I get $10,000 of full replacement insurance with no deductible no matter where I am or where my stuff gets stolen from. Its sad that it had to come to that but I think its well worth it. I hope you get your stuff back, or at the very least get Justice

jaz240, you have a pm!

It does suck, you just feel violated. Plus based on what was taken. I know it was another RC enthusiast, not just a random theft. They brought exactly what they needed to get into our trailer(they had been there before) and exactly what they wanted to take. There was a $3500 generator in the trailer, there was an air compressor, tools, there was a big box full of spare parts and new tires. There was tons of tires, none of which was touched

Default Sorry for your loss -

Based on your description, I think its either one of two things:

1. they got spooked and couldn't take everything they wanted.

2. they were some young punks that live with thier parents.

I suspect it was number 2. If they got spooked, then they would have taken the other bump-box, with plans on taking the one they took - they wouldn't have been selective- Also, a real thief wouldn't leave $1000's on the table.

A punk living at home couldn't come home with a generator, or hide everything. You were probably robbed by some high-school/college age punks living at home.
