Go down to the nearest hardware store and ask for a cheap cordless screwdriver. You don't want a big powerful drill. Should be able to get one for under $30 and they will accept any 1/4 drive bits like those from OFNA, MIP or EDS.

Got a nice one from Homedepot, ryobi or whatever its called. Lithium powered, lasts forever, think it ran me $40.

Not sure why you wouldnt want to use it in the future. These things save time and make things much easier. I can't imagine not using one now for off road.

Trust me, if you buy a quality driver with quality bits you will forget what hand tools are. I use a Hitachi db3dl with Hudy bits.

yea i know i used a friends once when my car broke at a race and its much easier than hand tools i just want one mainly for kit building and when i break at the track but some tracks dont have power for all ur stuff so i like my hand tools at the track and drills strip stuff easy so i just want one to get it threaded then tighten by hand

A properly set clutch will not strip anything. Also the db3dl comes with 2 batteries that last a long time. So you won't need to use any power at the track.

This set-up looks sweet. Two batteries means no more waiting for a charge.

Must have an adjustable clutch. Don't skimp, you'll strip out plastics.
