EB Mods JS .21 race prepped... and a dynamite 086. These engines are pre broken in and as simple as putting a clutch on and the engine on your vehicle ready to fire, tune and race. They were pulling everything at my local track yesterday. 1-2 buggy and 1 in truggy. Also 9-11 minute pits can be obtained.

Hence, I need a new motor.

I am looking at motors below:

Nova Rossi Plus 4 (Kinda Expensive)
RB Concept 10 (Also kinda Expensive)
RB Mods motor (O.K.)
Werks B5 Hmm. I have a collar b3 and a Werks B7 (Just got the B7 to finally Idle correctly, needed a new bearing and needed to be resealed)

I still have a Rossi LSK, Rossi Black Magic. LSK still won't idle correctly (air leak after new bering installed) and the black magic needs a front bearing)

What do you folks think.

I hear good things about the Nova Ross, and the Werks.

I haven't heard anything about the RB Concept 10. Would like info on this one.

Thanks

Oh Yeah. BTW. Which one will I be able to get parts easily down the road.

Thanks again.
How Much Run time did you have on the Axe Rossi X1?

Looks Sweeeet. It kinda expensive, but if it's as sweet as any RB engine I've owned, then it rocks.....

The Nova FMS Simply Amazing, best engine I've owned, ever...
Toro Team Improved torque, still new on the market, just may be the ticket...
RB Buggy 10 Dunno, but dang it looks sweeeet, RB engines are quality.....
Ninja,, Black crank, powerful stuff, smooth....RB Mods version would be the terminator......
B5-6 Cool runners, plenty of power, quality
Alpha Orange head... Screamer, for 200 bucks. Sounds sick.....

Default Re: Axe Rossi

Hi. In reference to the Axe issue.

The New X2 Sounds like it's got a ton power. The problem

is I don't have 5 bills for the motor. Currently I have about $150 credit at

Amain hobbies. (Returned the X1 rebuild kit and purchases some bearings for

other motors) and about 100 bucks in cash. The Axe Serpre looks good, but I

don't know much about it. (Based on the lack of word of mouth re the motor,

it sounds like a sport motor.

RB Concepts. I have 2 RBs. 1 brand new never fired WS7 (1). I also have

another WS7 (1) which I am rebuilding. Pistion/sleever still really expensive.

I have a few Collari b3 and werks b7. All seem to work when the work.

Air leak problems on most of them due to bearing leaks and back plate leaks.

Werks is B7 is back online and seems to run really strong. Collari B3 is also

back online with lots of bottom end but, nothing on top.

I still need to find the proper bearing for my Ninja B01. Either the case is

bad or the front bearing is not a true 7x19. Looks to be .2 larger on the outter side.

I like the RB, Werks, Axe, but,

just having a hard time trying to figure what to get.

I guess when I get something, I will sell the Collari. No real need to keep.

(Ahhh. Maybe I'll stab it into the Mugen Super Athelete and keep it as a

complete car from that time period.

I would like to play with a Nova Rossi Plus 4 or a Toro Nero.

I hear they are great motors. Smooth powerband (Not the Toro Nero -

Stupid bottom end torque. I like it) But,

Alast... Can't afford it.

Whatever I buy, I generally like to purchase extra parts so I can keep it a

while.

Hmm.

Since you have all these other engines Lying around, why not just use one of them? Such as the B7.. I don't wnat to kill a sell for someone, but why buy another engine, if you already have so many that are running? My $.02

well if your running a buggy the rb hobby 9 (s5) isnt a engine its a 5 port and reasonable power for club racing. i run it on my truggy and i have to keep on tinking with it, to get more bottom end (clutch springs) and gearing
its a rpm engine which, the next time i will get a bottom end .21.

OS baby, V-Spec best motor made that's why most pros run em even if they have another brand engine sponsor! Seen it first hand. Parts are cheaper than werks novarossi, and very easy to get.

Use your discount at A main hobbies and pick up a Werks B6, break it in and try it out. You will love it. If... for whatever reason you feel it is still not enough, send it up to Clockworks and Neal will get a little more out of it for you. I am sure that you will be very happy with the stock performance!!

you need to burn up the engines you have. its a waste of money when you have engines laying around, def the WS7, those are killer engines. the one that never been fired will last over 8 gallons with no problems, if you dont want it i can take it off your hands

i had 5 engines that were kinda worn out and i finally had the crank in my GRP get to worn (after 16 gallons, but had a new PSR kit after 8) so i used up all my back ups, lasted me another couple of months before i got another engine. now im running Alpha engines, they are really nice but if your not a good tuner, dont get one, they are a little tricky to tune and you never use a temp gun with them or you will freak and mess one up.

just use what you have and save your money. def if you have TWO WS7s, those are killer engines, i wish i had two of those just laying around
