Questions?? bougging

i have a traxxas nitro rustler with a trx 2.5 and after i gets up to temp it starts to boug and it no longer starts accelerating sharply and top end is limited to like 25 or 20 mph in stead of 50+ and including break in it only has 1 1/4 quarts of fuel so if you know tell me and this is my first nitro car so i am not very experianced.

What does it do while it's getting up to temp? As it warms up it should lean out, so it sounds like you've got a lean bog. But, since it's a new engine it may have "dropped it's nuts"(goes way rich). I doubt that though since it's only got 1 quart through it.

Too lean on the HSN and too rich on the LSN. These are finicky little engines, very small adjustments on the LSN. I don't know what fuel you are using but Traxxas fuel is poo. It will run better on a good quality 30% fuel like Byron's Race blend. You want a fuel with no more than 12% oil. Oil causes excess heat and makes a false tune condition more likely.
I had great luck with Trinity MHP 30% fuel in my TRX mills.
You need to start with a fresh glow plug too, you more than likely have distorted your current plug from running the engine lean and too hard too soon. It will not run right with a distorted plug. It will be impossible to tune.

On the low speed needle, located at the end of the carb slide, turn it clockwise 2hours or 10 minutes as it would read on a clock.
