HB sells all light weight outdrives and ring gears for the truck.

like i keep saying i NO i can't keep up with the pros but i want to no do you guys think it is a good idea to stay witht eh D8T/D8 and upgrade them or should i go to a car that needs no upgrade to keep up.

the reason pros are so fast is because of there cars, yes they have mad skills but they also spend lots of time seting up the car. i am starting to think that i still just need to find the setup that works(a base setup).

how do i fix pushing in the corner from the middle of the corner on..

its actually easier to drive a heavy car lol the d8 shouldnt need upgrades u just need to find a good set up or maybe its not ur style try some friends truggy i really preffer d8t, mbx6t, xray xt8 09spec those are the best to me but the mbx series and xray series are like driving a ferrari compared to Honda parts are outragiously insane and i would rather spend 10 dollars on a plastci fuel tank to xrays 40 some odd dollars

I'm surprised this thread is still going. It seems to me you've had numerous people answer your question, but you just don't want to believe their answers. That being said, what is you're current set up? Maybe we can offer some tips on that front. Now, I had purchased my trug from a member here on RCT, it was built but brand new. He had installed KHZ front steering brace, F and R chassis supports, and the rear hubs. He also stated he installed the Kyosho sway bars, 2.3 up front. As for durability, none of this is NEEDED, but may help in driving characteristics. Aside from this, my base set up is as follows...

Diffs 10/7/2
Kyosho 2.3 Sway up front
Shocks Mugen 400 all around, Springs White/Front - Blue/Rear
RH = 38mm F/40mm R
Droop, I havn't run the trug in a few weeks, but if I recall correct I think I'm running it at 99 F/ 112R.
Front toe- eyeballed :|
Camber -2 all around
As for the rest of the static setting, I'd hafta get it out of the garage and look. I can get back to you if necessary.

My trug simply does not know the meaning of push.
One last tip, spend some time reading Ty Tessman's website. Lots of excellent info there
