Me too on my brand new Losi 8ight-t RTR
I spent two days breaking it in in my garden (grass) and then some easy driving on a place with a lot of gravel/rocks (All sorted in nice big piles on a tarmac surface) and after only 30 minutes I saw oil on the chassis. End of day and a completely worn out cup. Did not see any scuffs on the red chassis but I found the stone in the chassis with the plastic on it. The plastic melts during the grinding and get stuck to the stone.
