For power, reliability and expectged life span I dont think you can beat the GRP engines from TQ... its a couple bucks more, but a year from now you'll be glad to fork out another $30 compared to a P/S/R

$260 with pipe
and couple guys I talked too tried those Dynamite platinums. I heard nothing but negatives. One being maybe last 5 gallons. Thats just what I heard, I have no experience with it.
I hear a lot of positive's coming from the Werks and Alpha users. Im sure they will chime in.

In that price range....I would go with either Alpha Plus or Werks for sure.
Truggy: Alpha S852 (torque engine) or Werks B5
Buggy: Alpha F850 (all around smooth) or Alpha Z852 (top end engine) or Werks B6
Those are the ones I would focus on. I ran an Alpha Plus S852 in my Truggy. When I sold the Truggy I moved the engine to my Buggy. Almost 5 gallons on it now...no signs of slowing down....

if you want to go very fast and do so with reliability and fantastic customer support, WERKS(B5/B6) are the only choices..........great price, as well.....

For the money i'd have to say look into go engines. They can be found for cheap on ebay. In fact i picked up 3 .21 engines on ebay for $160 shipped. 2 were used one was new. They have so much power its hard to keep it under control. In fact i can't imagine having any more power. Any more and it would never get traction, you'd just be digging holes in the dirt as you throttled it.
