Default losi truggy 2.0 half tank lean issue?

Anyone else experience this? Seems like I lean out the less fuel i get in the tank. I have seen air bubbles in the fuel line when running on the box. I run a fuel filter but have tested for air leaks and haven't found any on the tank/filter/fuel lines. Any ideas? How often do you clean your clunk? Maybe that's it?

If you have air bubbles in the fuel line you likely have a leak somewhere. If all lines are new and inspected, check the main needle o-rings and washers. If it has a small leak it can cause a similar issue with what you perceive to be 'bubble's in the supply line (unless you see them originating from the tank pickup end only).

It's cheap insurance, so just replace ALL your fuel and pressure lines and start over.

Backflow the in-tank filter while you have it out.

If you're leaning out as you start from full and run to empty; that also generally indicates excessive pressure; so add some length to your pressure line.

Make sure you "clunk" or stone filter is all the way back in the tank.

Like others have said, make sure the clunk is at the BACK of the tank. far enough back that it sort of sits in the low spot of the tank(it is there for a reason), but not far enough back that it gets hung up on the back wall of the tank when you flip it over. Also make sure your fuel lines are good. Just change them to be sure. If that doesn't solve the issue, try a little longer of a pressure line. If there is still an issue, you may want to consider replacing the whole tank. If the problem remains after all that, your issue is in the engine somewhere. Probably a needle O-ring or air leak elsewhere.

Been there and done ALL that.....drove me nuts. Finally whipped out the WD40 and found a leak in the front seal. It didn't effect my idle so I didn't notice it untill the WD hit it. Chamged the seal and all went back to normal.

I had the same exact problem on my DBX, replacing the o-ring on the fuel tank cap resolved it. Testing the tank with the air compressor it appeared to be sealed, but apparently the vibration of the engine made the old o-ring leak and the new one did not. I also had fuel leaking from my tank with the old o-ring, also resolved by the new one.
