Default fuel additive

Hi

Does anyone know the different type of additive you can add to your nitro fuel to increase power ?

Since my club does not regulate the type of fuel used, i might as well use some illegal additive in my fuel to boost power ?

Coldfusion has fusion boost with will increase the nitro content

Just buy a higher nitro content fuel. In theory it could work to mix in fuels with a higher energy content, but in reality methanol/nitro engines doesn't run that great with a lot of gasoline in the fuel mix.

How big is the cold fusion case? Like 32oz?

Dunno, it doesn't say.

But this is nothing but nitro & oil in a bottle. Buy a higher nitro content fuel instead. There is no snake oil in the bottle... Be that good or bad as you wish.

I assume your referring to hydrogen peroxide? Since it's unstable at best, it has to be added right before running on it, and, as it's a highly active corrosive agent, it might not be the best to put in a engine. Contact with oragnic materials makes it fall apart producing oxygen, which is good, but will do so at the cost of the nitro... which is bad. Oh, and don't use it in a Castor oil blend. That is organic to. I think methanol it self is ignored as far as the hydrogen peroxide is concerned, but the reaction with oil, or nitro could be heat-inducing.

It's a rocket fuel, and can be used to make explosives, but i don't think it's going to take of as a fuel additive for the RC industry. I'd love to hear someone who tried it, as i just have it on theoretic knowledge. I do have the stuff at home, but no engine to test it in. (No engine I'd be willing to sacrifice)

I find it funny that someone could use more power than a good engine on 30% can provide. I'm far from good enough to use any more than my 7mm restrictor on 20% can provide, still have 2mm and 10% to go! Only way I can see using more would be dirt oval or something. Good luck!

+1 don't they have enough power already?

Why would you tell someone to go and buy another fuel with a higher nitro content in it when he already has fuel to use and can just increase the nitro content in it in the amounts he want to. This is a cost effective way to do it and you only have to make as much as you want to and still have the ability to use your "ALREADY OWNED" fuel again in its original state if so desired. Anyway, just for the record there is NO SNAKE OIL and I repeat NO SNAKE OIL in my products.

For the record it is a 16oz bottle holding approximately 15oz of product in it.

I do not get into debates on this or any other forums I just speak the facts and when my products are being bashed or criticized I will always defend them.

Thanks for your time and attention, Ron K.

No.. Because the Nitro content did not change.. All the Peroxide will do is add more Oxygen to the fuel.. Which will require you to run a richer needle setting in order to keep from going lean..

So is it bad to do? So basically its like going from 20% to 30%?
