Questions?? Air bubbles in fuel line after I got my new tank and fuel line. Help?

So I just finished my savage xl mid tank mod with the ofna 250cc 1/7th scale tank and new fuel line. When I started it for the first time today, it ran good with a full tank, but after it got a bit below half tank it began to idle funny as if it still had the half tank lean problem. When I checked the fuel line, there were large air bubbles in it, almost like gaps of air between fuel. The tank and fuel line are new and I never had this problem with my old tank and set up. Any ideas what it could be or how i could fix it?

Thanks

I had the same problem with my 8ight 2.0. 1/2 tank motor dies. So I replaced the tank with a new one. Same thing! Had an air leak in the front seal. As soon as replaced the front seal, not the bearing but the seal the air bubbles stopped and the motor ran like a top. I guess the air leak was backing up through the carb...like to drove me nuts till I changed the seal.

Check your fuel filter. (Better yet, get rid of it)

There is a filter in the tank. The outboard filter just serves as another place to have an air leak.
