Are these couplers lightened compared to the stock parts, or just made from a more durable product? I'm trying to understand why I should put all of these products on my D8T? Also, any factory guys have any comments having tested this stuff? Thanks much!!

I can't comment on these specific items. But the guys @ Tekno rock!. I've had very good service from them and excellent quality products. Would love to try these on my D8/T vehicles...but right now tires and fuel is more important :P Lol.

Not sure on weight, but they are stronger and have the CVD pin retainer

Thanks for the comments. The parts are not any lighter, but as bboard and fallguy pointed out, they are stronger and will be less trouble compared to the stockers due to the pin retaining ring. Also since they have 3 sets of drive pin holes, you can move the pin 2 more times after the first holes show any wear. This essentially extends the life of the part a lot.

does the front one add weight you think? I mean it has a different design and it is 5mm so id think if it did it would be very small amount

Default D8T tekno kit?

Hi, since this thread is about new tekno parts I was wondering if anyone had information on whether a V3 brushless conversion kit for the D8T is anywhere near release? I'm gonna convert a D8T to brushless and want to see if Tekno is gonna come out with a kit.
Thanks.

There will be very limited qty of these released. Better to check and ask in THIS forum for our brushless kits. Or even give us a call during our business hours. Check Tekno RC for details.
