Default Beating the Losi 8 RTR for value

Is it possible?

Am looking for a new setup, and honestly I cant see how to beat this as a entry level racer. Even starting with something like the HB D8 which seems teh cheapest option of the bigger brands, by the time I add a motor, radio gear, starter box, I seem to be well over the asking price of this RTR.

Can anyone out there come up with a combo that is about the same money, but perhaps a bit better quality as a racer?

I moved the stock steering servo to throttle before I even fired mine. Even at that, the servo was out in about 3 weeks. You must put a steering servo in it immediately. Otherwise its massively value packed. The 350 is surprisingly strong and gets race speed with the turbo head and RE11 pipe from Losi. My radio has been perfect and I now use it for everything.

We have the lowest price around as far right now and belive you get 5 dollars off every 100 you spend so that would be like 25 bucks off the bumpbox batteries.or other stuff.

If you're talking about a RR, you still got a job.

I bought the RTR 2.0 couple months ago......

whats left, a starter box

I dumped a lot of money in that. new engine, servos, shock towers, A-arms, body (rtr is yuck), tires, etc.
If I would of just bought my MBX6 to begin with. I could probably start building a truggy.
