Considering the Jato 3.3 worth it?
Like the title sais im looking to get a stadium truck this week. I was considering the Jato 3.3 but there are so Many. I want Speed like the Jato but need to Consider Durability. What do you guys think? Do you think the Jato is worth the cash?

The Jato, despite being called a truck (by Traxxas), is not an off-road vehicle at all. It's very fast up and down the street, and it does that well, but don't get it if you want any off-road action.
If you like Traxxas, check out the Slash (electric) or the Slayer (nitro).

Well what do you think a good offroad Stadium truck would be? I have 400 cash but thats about where my limit is

What you want to do and how much you have to spend is very different than me.
Do you want electric or nitro?

I owned a jato before i started racing, its not worth it. i was breaking a arms like crazy. if you do go that route get rpm a arms. The slash is a very fun truck. Put the VXL system and youll have a great time, more fun then the jato will ever be. It is exciting to go 71 mph on the road with the jato tho(radar gun, not stock)

I agree with Losi racer. The jato was fun for about 10 minutes of doing high speed passes up and down the street. As soon as I put it on the grass or in the dirt it was useless and you can pretty much forget about ever putting it on a track as it's not made for racing. There are allot more vehicles put there that are more fun and can be used on many types of surfaces and even raced

not really looing to race just because there is no where near me to race unless im willing to drive 2+ hours

ok I do not want a MT. my choices are eiter a buggy or a Stadium truck. Right now I have many MT's & just dont use them anymore.
I have 600 cash but really only want to use 400 of it on a buggy or stadium truck just because i need extra stuff such as fuel and what not.
here are my choices I know its a big list but im not really sure what is good. Now if you had to choose 1 buggy and 1 stadium truck WICH would you choose. The problem Lie's with the Buggie's there are so damn many its Confusing

Ofna
Out of that list I would definitely go with one of the Ofna buggies like the 7 or 8.5 which are pretty similar from what I hear just tweaked a little different. I'm not a fan of Cen or HPI but others might tell you different thats just my opinion. No matter what you choose do your homework and see what the come with cause your base purchase will determine what your can do with it in the future..... REALLY! Take your time and don't regret your decision. There are some good kits and RTR's for low prices but there are also some junk kits. Make sure you know what your getting and check to see what parts your local hobby shop carries as you will need parts any route you go.... especially bashing. Also the Hot Bodies kits are really high quality for a decent price and you can race them if you feel the urge.(you could race the ofna buggies too) I think its better to build the kits if you have the motor and electrics to put in it you learn your machine much better and build it alot better than the factory does I just had to completely rebuild the RTR RC8T I bought cause it was falling apart.... Just an FYI from one hobbiest to the next. Also the kits come with alot of the better parts you will want if you get into it and the RTR's just come with whatever they got to build a machine. (if you know what i mean)
Bottom line:
1) take your time deciding
2) do your homework
3)Loctite is your friend
Hope that helps buddy those are all the things I wish I had known before buying mine!
After looking back thru the posts if you want a bashing truck that has awesome power and durability definitely look at the slash and slayer. Watch some youtube videos and you'll see what i mean.
