You just made me feel alot better JK. I never worry about needle setting until i start hovering around 3. Why don't you come to the cajun clasic down here in louisiana?

And yes engines run much better in cooler temps! I ran in very similar conditions to what you described last weekend, and I had to lean my engines out quite a bit. Lean it out!
