Default Your method to rebuild MBX-6 shocks

Hello.

Could you tell me what is your method to rebuild shocks ? And does damper shaft always extends to end ? Because i'm rebuilding my shocks now and damper shaft don't extends to end.

thats ok, you never want them to rebound all the way out. a good starting point is build them to rebound half way out, make sure both shocks rebound the same length. when you bleed them you wan to unscrew your cap about one turn, push the shock shaft up to about three quaters to fully compressed then while holding the shock shaft at that length tighten the cap. then check your rebound by pushing the shock all the way in then see how far it comes out and repeat if necessary till you get the rebound you are looking for. make sure both are the same. i like 25% rebound. hope this helps, im sure others will explain it better, i am no expert and i am still learning but that is how i was told to build mugen shocks and it works great.
