Memories... The gold pan RC10 was the first RC my father bought back in the 80's. I actually still have it sitting in my closet, I should dig it out and clean it up one of these weekends.

It's amazing how far our hobby has come. I can't wait to see what the next 30 years brings.

anyone remember the full page spread RC10 advert in RCCA with Jammin Jay by a blown up full size RC10, a lady in bikini, a commentator, a video crew and a young girl looked stoked? i had that page over my bed for a few months when i was a kid...

JRX2's trailing arm rear suspension was state of the art back then...

I remember my friend getting an RC10 after he got to play with my Golden Arrow. How old was I then.... man I'm old.

I was so jealous of that RC10.

Those were the glory days for Team Associated, and that good ol' American engineering made the RC-10 a legend. A shame that all their stuff now just looks like everything else out there; made in commie sweatshops

not just AE, Losi also suffering from the same faith, still own by an american company but no longer by the Losi family, when i first got my RCCA magazine, Gil Josi Jr was a young teen, he is now a man with white hair... Is his pop, Gil Losi Sr still around? after watching the videos, i really miss the old guys and the old days...

lol!!

Guys,

There are 5 parts to the video, enjoy it...

One thing I have noticed is that back then all the kids drag their RC stuff to the track in card board boxes!!! Now, any serious racers won't want to be caught dragging their wares in a card board boxes... Any self respecting racers will come in a trailer and cart in a few pit bags (with no less than 5000 compartments each!) of tools, wares and maybe no less than 50 sets of tires...
