how hot are you guys running your 454?

i was told they run around 240-250

bottom or top? and how much fuel is in it? its SH based and those run rich for about 2 gallons then they are good to go and get better run times a guy i ran with was pitting at 8 min and those things scream.

my buddy has one in his 2.0 RTR and he keeps it hot upper 200's id say.. and he has put tons of fuel through it and its still tight. pretty good motor but the carb sucks from what i have seen.
