Default How your race went thread.....

I thought it would be cool to hear about the crazy races that go on across the world. Feel free to let us all know. It's fun to hear about what happens when the engines are screaming and the fuel is flying...

I finally TQ'd in 1/8th buggy. During warm ups for the A main i must have chewed the rest of my clutch bell. Flag dropped and it just sat there. Very sickening feeling.

I had an awesome day racing... I didn't break any thing and finished right where I qualified. Of course I didn't turn a lap, but it's always fun to just hang out at the track. I helped announce a few races, which was fun, and helped with pit work for a few guys..

That's a tough group to race against. It was in San Antonio right. Who won.

Well I woke up and looked outside and it was storming so I thought there goes racing this weekend
So i head out to the track to get some new tires and other little things. A couple other racers were there packing up to go to the indoor track a few hours away. Then the race director said it will be dry in a few hours so we start at 4
For some reason we ran truggy and buggy together( i think were enough for both) and I TQed
In the start of the main they did something new with a light to tell you when to go but I sat waiting for the tone lol so I went into the first turn last and spent the whole race chasing down the e buggy. When I was getting close I had to pit but I tracked him down and wouldnt you know his battery died and I took the win.
sorry for the mouthful lol

I went to rev, practiced till 3 getting my stuff right (tweaked alot of stuff) qualifiers came and I was going really good in expert truck driving fast and smooth and then my engine started feeling lean on bottom so I slowed up a bit. Came off at 273 so richened bottom 2 hours n top 2 hours. Went back to the pits n noticed my throttle servo broke so I replaced it and barely made the next qualifier so I was really going good in that was also and with 2 minutes to go I blew my rear diff but it stayed together so I just went slow. Ended up 2nd on the grid. I replaced my rear diff and cleaned up and when main rolled around my car felt awsome in the warm up. I took off the start and passed first immediatly and took off like a sprinter with tigers chasin me lol I think by 3 minutes in I had a great lead building up and going strong. Then at like 6 minutes I flamed out brang it back started up and drove like a bat out of hell to get all the way back to the leaders an got back into second behind Ricky racer and we had a nice battle for a lap then I started having issues, I didn't no what was wrong for 10 minutes I was completly pissed but confused on what was wrong it kept cutting off power so first I thought my engine was gonna blow up but I had a pit right as it started messing up so I had them temp n it was 215 so then I thought cbell bearing were done and that's why it kept cutting out n diving in the front but then I noticed it wasn't having any issues when it stopped dead on the track idling so then I thought radio but my steering was fine so then I thought maybe it was the thottle servo toast. Then with 2 to go she gave in and stopped. So I checked everything n they all worked perfectly so now I have to problem solve. It was a great weekend. I also popped 5 os p3 plugs. I put in an Orion 5 n it hasn't popped in half a gallon. So I'm kinda confused is os p3 plus r good anymore. I think they had a bad batch.

Novelty Trophy race-2.5 hours away One Way.

It went without me... the rain washed it out.... 3 times.

15 hours of driving for about 10 minutes worth of practice.

Gotta love it
