Default Need your input on this starter box.

Hey guys, I am looking for another starter box. I am currently looking at this.

http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...al-Starter-Box

Has anyone used this on a Losi 2.0 Truggy??? If so, how does it compare with the OFNA blue box???

Nothing compares to the ofna truggy box. Just spend the extra cash on the ofna box you will not be disappointed.

I had a blue truggy box and it did not work. the truck would not bump the flywheel with the guides on. I got the 8t upgrade starter box from losi and it is amazing. fits the truck perfectly and you don't even need the set up the guides because they come preconfigured to buggy and truggy

look at the ofna crome top.(the one with one big motor) Its the only think imo that compares to the ofna truggy box. The down side it that it is pretty big and heavy. The best all around box is the truggy box imo.

i fyou want the best of both worlds get a used old losi box put the the 775 ofna truggy box motors in it and you will have the best box for a losi friend has the dynamite box and likes it i use mugen box due to light weight but motors are little weak imo

Ofna is king of the starter-box, I would highly recommend staying with them.
I would not think to purchase anything less than this, or you may find you yourself spending $ on two boxes.

I love my blue box!

Ok, how did you just do that??? Lots of people i have seen with the blue truggy box only use the front guides. They all say that a 2.0 trug will not fit on that box w/out the rear pegs removed. It's the only reason i chose the dynamite box over the trug box.

Along with 2 stick packs, this is the last starter box you will ever buy. I don't even run nitro any more, sold mine a few years ago, the guy who bought, sold it & it is still going stong with the 3rd owner. I got it in like 2001.

New losi box is the deali-o. Get that one I just did after trying one at a race. it's awesome for the 8ight 2.0 family. especially if you run buggy and truggy.
