now that is what i am talking about. I knew my local hardware store would have some kind of oil i could use for my filters!!! You da man.

Yea , since i am a certified master tech & have been since 1985 i would say i don't know how to apply air filter oil .
Guess i should explain what he meant by bogging . The engine didn't rev as fast with the thicker oil . It seemed sluggish . I guess when people say bogging you would think of the engine sputtering or almost shutting off .

yes i agree thicker oil doesn't flow as well, and with our engines its even more noticeable because its smaller. no doubt you can see/feel gains or loss of power.
