Keep in mind an engine alone will not make your car faster. Allong with changing the engine for a more powerful one, you might need ot change the gearing if more high speed is what you are after.. If you just want quicker acceleration then yes a more powerful engine "could" give you what you want. But, you have to be able to control that power..

For tuning, easy to tune, is misused IMO.. Ease of tuning for a long time RC guru is different then for the first time RCer.. OS engines are known for their ease of tuning ability, but I have a feeling it will not be as easy as you are hoping for. Read the tuning Bible at the top of this forum, and ask someone for help that knows how to tune a nitro engine.

Good Luck with which ever engine you decide to get..

Before you get a new engine, you might try to find someone that can tune that 3.3 for you, because when they are properly tuned, they can make alot of power, and are crazy fast..

I agree with Scotty. The 3.3 should be all you'll ever need for a 2WD 10 scale truck. If 65MPH is not fast enough for you than look into brushless electric. Also keep in mind that a .21 engine will not make your jato faster in fact what it will probably do is wear out the drive train a whole lot faster

It is very easy to tune. I never had an .18 so I do not know but
I am happy with this one!

Then you would really like the tm. You can pretty much tune it and forget it.
Holds a tune great.
