Im down to picking from 2 engines for my RC8.2. One is the Novarossi Plus .21-4 and the other is the Reedy 121 VR. I will be racing on a tight track and need a good bottem end with a descent top end. So what pipe will work with these and give me the power band I need. BTW I'm going to be running agnist electric's.

Stay away from the reedy. Go with the nova.

I've heard great things about the Reedy.. For the Reedy, 2035 I think. 2041 too..

From your description though a Werks B2 sounds perfect..

There's nothing wrong with the reedy vr121. Plenty of power and tunes easy. I havecthe reedy 2039 pipe and it does pretty good. But if you want more bottom run the 2035. Novas are good too. Have fun with whatever you decide to go with.

Why not a p5? In my experience, p5s have better bottom end than the plus 4.

I would do a p5 with a Lois re12 pipe, same as the novarossi 9901 pipe which is a great pipe,but for less.

Maybe try a 9886 nova pipe but for now I would go with the re12

If you get a chance look at the werks line up of motors, the are phenomenal with a great price tag...

Nothing wrong with the Reedy engines, I own a 121VR and 121VR-ST both excellent engines. For torque, get the AE 2035 tuned pipe.

The 21-4 Plus and P5 are also two great engines.
