Default Losi GRP sport/tuned engine question

Okay, here's the situation, I bought a NIB Losi GRP (discontinued) engine from ebay, I only have experience with the tuned version...

I did not realize that the sport has a standard plug configuration...

AND...the button is built into the head.

here's my question...If I purchase a Turbo button and the Tuned Head and install it on the sport case will the displacement be the same?

has anybody made this conversion? (I hate standard plugs)

Yes it should be fine putting a tuned head button and head on it. Almost all brands interchange like that.

I did exactly that to the same engine and it ran perfectly.

Thanks, I actually have a few inserts from running the tuned .21, I usually run somewhere between a 7.0 and 8.0

but this a useful tip, as the GRP inserts are sold in sets of three and kind of pricey

No worries, it will actually cost me more with shipping, but I need the head too (and some other stuff non engine related) just figured I would grab everything from Amain.

I have a grp pipe the 2053 that I will sell you i'll take $30.00 for it if your interested pm me and we can work something out because I don't have a paypal account and I have never sold anything online before I know it sounds kinda crazy but it's true. I tell what pipe I have found to work real good is the RE 10 pipe that losi makes. It's suppose to be the same thing as the o.s pipe (2060)
