Default BCE chassis for 2.0T

I am currently thinking of up grading my standard chassis for my 2.0T to a BCE chassis. Are there big improvements in performance? Can I have some feedback from you guys out there?

Cheers.

There are many. Here is the official thread and 80-90% of it is about the Losi 2.0 chassis.

Personal opinion here:

I ran the BCE on me 2.0 buggy; ran it a couple times and sold it. Just didn't like the way the car felt.

It may make the car more forgiving on a really rough track, but it also makes it a little less reassuring and precise to me.

Wonderful pieces of workmanship, but I'd put my money elsewhere first. Like maybe Lunsford turnbuckles/shock mounts and the new Losi inclined castor blocks/spindles if you don't already have them. The inclined units will be of bigger benefit than the frame and they cost about the same.

Good luck

I love the bce chassis's I run them kn both the buggy and truggy and I'm trying to get ahd of one of bills prototype E truggy chassis. I thought it bade the truggy faster in the rough stuf. I can't say for the buggy I put a bce chassis on it before I ran the stock one. The ano on the bottom wears faster than the new losi stuff. Prob because it's some very toxic illegal in the states process that losi is using. But to me the BCE chassis's are worth it. I also like the inclined spindle and carrier setup too

"Hi Bill,
Just wanted to let you know that i had a chance to run the Bce chassis on my new losi eu today. Ran the eu kit in on thursday on the std setup and changed over to the Bce on friday night, and i can tell you the Bce chassis gave me an extra 1.5secs a lap!!!!! Overall with the new car and bce chassis i was 2.5secs a lap quicker.
To say i'm pretty happy right now would be an understatement
cheers"... Thank you Tops for the News

As far as I know Losi uses "hard anodizing", which is tougher than regular anod. and adds some surface hardness to the alloy.

BCE just uses standard color anod, which is really weak and doesn't provide any wear protection.

I wasn't aware that hard anodizing was anything toxic or problematic, but it is more expensive to do. I know several places over here on the East coast that can do it, but most places don't want to deal with small batches.

Bill uses the hard anno on the chassis, The anno isn't a big deal, the billet chassis material last longer than stock, PERIOD, though I would not ever worry about it, who is looking at the bottom of the car anyways ? That E chasis is light as hell !!, Can't wait to finish the one for my RC8BE!

it's tuffer then my stock mbx 6 chassis. i tumble and jump hard and wreck a good bit and it's been over a month and about 2 gallons and it's still perfect. as far as improving times, If it shaved 30 seconds off my lap times i would notice

can't speak for other car brands, but if you own a mugen it's definitley worth it.
